Our Story
Early Beginnings
Our story starts with a passion for helping people look and feel their best. Founders Barbara and Leon Prete began their journey with "Face & Body" in 1998, a haven for relaxation and rejuvenation through massage and aesthetics. As their passion for aesthetics grew, they also became pioneers in laser education. They decided to start one of the first laser hair removal businesses in the state of Connecticut, and quickly became well-known educators in the field.
Fun fact: One of our first clients was the talented actress Mary Steenburgen!
History and Transition from Face & Body to AAC
“Face & Body” expanded over time into Anti-Aging Centers of Connecticut. Its menu of services quickly grew as our founders stepped into the cosmetic laser industry, and so did their skillset as they pioneered laser education in the area. Together, they created a comprehensive laser training program that has helped to credential hundreds of MDs, APRNs, RNs, estheticians and more. Their training encompassed every detail of what it takes to wield the power of a cosmetic laser, including the importance of getting clients incredible results while maximizing their safety at each and every appointment.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes appointments need to be changed. To ensure we can continue providing the best possible service to all our clients, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another client and avoid any inconvenience to our team.

Please note: Late cancellations (within 48 hours) will incur a cancellation fee. This fee helps us manage our schedule effectively and continue offering exceptional service to everyone.

A cancellation fee of $25 will be applied to appointments less than 60 minutes if canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled time.

A cancellation fee of $75 will be applied to appointments 60 minutes or more if canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled time.
Return Policy
Products
We want you to be happy with your Anti-Aging Centers of Connecticut experience. For unopened products, we offer a return policy within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
Services
We recommend using your purchased services within two years of purchase to ensure optimal results. You can find the specific service expiry date on your receipt. While we don't offer refunds on services, unused portions can be converted into "AAC Credit" to be applied towards future services or products. This ensures maximum value for your investment. Any treatment plan or service price quote is always good for 30 days, after which prices are subject to change.
