The combination of the Hollywood Laser Peel and a signature Hydrafacial treatment offers a comprehensive approach to skin rejuvenation and hydration. The Hollywood Spectra laser treats Melasma by utilizing a specialized wavelength of light that targets the excess melanin responsible for skin discoloration. The laser energy is absorbed by the melanin, causing it to fragment and break down into smaller particles. With this "laser toning" technique, the pigment associated with melasma gradually fades over a series of treatment sessions.
Additionally, utilizing the MDF handpiece can resurface skin while photoacoutstically shattering pigmentation irregularities. We can also use our Ultra machine to resurface the skin in yet another way to minimize pigmentation. Your aesthetic nurse specialist will discuss and choose the right treatment for you at each appointment.

The Spectra laser emits high-intensity light energy in short pulses, which is selectively absorbed by the tattoo ink. This energy breaks down the ink particles into smaller fragments that can be naturally eliminated by the body's immune system, gradually fading the tattoo over a series of treatments. Treatment with this laser offers the advantage of adjustable wavelengths and pulse durations, allowing for customized treatment based on the specific tattoo colors and characteristics. This results in successful tattoo removal with minimal risk to the client.

The Spectra's MDF handpiece is a fractional, photoacoustic handpiece that allows the technician to create micro-injuries in the skin at many different depths, which result in many 'zones of coagulation'. These injuries allow for stimulation of collagen and elastin, just like all our skin rejuvenation treatments, but at different depths in the skin. Because the energy is so concentrated, we see incredible results on scarring and textural issues.
This treatment does have more downtime, but the results are worth it. We also love to layer this treatment with some extra resurfacing utilziing the Ultra machine, or combined with microneedling to hit yet another depth of skin rejuvenation.
